FazFaz. But unfazed. The crapper
among us who creates mountains out of molehills. A lover of chick flicks and chick lit, and definitely dramatic and uncontrollable when hysterical, Faz is the one who does most of the legwork where writing is concerned. Practising a unique form of shorthand that nobody understands, and possessing the ability to decipher Lin Cher’s Sanskrit (bad note-taking and handwriting), Faz is the one who creates the initial draft of anything that you want to write. A believer of magic and that everything can be enchanted with a spell, Faz incorporates this belief in the things she writes for you, making sure that your book/newsletter/copy achieves the magical effect it sets out to achieve. | AmandaAmanda the “Analiser”ensures that your copyedited text is spick and span before it gets released. Emphasising the “Anal” in “Analiser”, Amanda will not allow for that extra space, that
strange indent or that inexplicable underlining to appear in your text. Currently an undergraduate of the Nanyang Technological University in the Division of Linguistics and Multilingual Studies, the Analiser takes pride in her open attitude towards language, believing that it evolves and grows over time, while at the same time, contradicting herself when she kicks a big fuss over how a sentence is constructed, or why a semi-colon is used in place of a full stop. Amanda requires feeding every 4 hours, failing which, she fails to function almost immediately when H-hour is passed. |
Lin Cher
The only unfortunate man in the group, Lin Cher was the person who brought about the incarnation of RedWordTree. Fresh out from a meditation retreat in Australia in December 2007, the idea of a business that is based solely on writing overwhelmed him till there was nothing he could do but to allow the idea to materialise.
The ex-teacher with all the mad ideas and wild concepts, Lin Cher is the one who
sees the forest while trying to desperately focus on the trees. He is the big picture guy who can see how your book/newsletter/copy should turn out to achieve its objective.
An avid fan of Zhuge Liang, an ancient strategist from China, he constantly fans himself with a goose feather fan (complete with a turtle soft toy in his hand) and recites quotes from his idol. All these much to the chagrin and amusement of the two girls.
